In my last post, I talked about creating business cards. In today’s post I’d like to expand a bit further and talk more about how to go about getting them printed in an efficient manner.

The speed of service is becoming increasingly important in today’s fast-paced world. I remember times when you would have to wait a week or more, minimum, to get something printing. Online printing companies have sped up turnaround times in the industry quite drastically. Nowadays, you can find plenty of printing services that will print your materials the same day and delivery them in a day or two. This can be done for just about any printed product, including business cards, brochures, posters, postcards, and signs.

My favorite company that does business in this arena is Printplace. This company specializes in printing things fast and getting them delivered to you quickly. Such services typically charge quite a premium, but I’ve found the Printplace’s prices are quite reasonable. In fact, on a recent order I used Printplace coupons and ended up paying about the same price I usually do at a different company. The only difference was I got my materials much more quickly. Check out some of the current discounts for Printplace.

While it’s great to have companies like Printplace that you can turn to, I continue to believe that the best course of action is to plan ahead and schedule things on a more reasonable timeline. Yes, you’re bound to have last-minute projects from time to time, but this shouldn’t be the regular way you conduct business. Such a fast-paced schedule can lead to stress and bad morale among your employees. Ultimately, you want to avoid that type of situation altogether. It’s not hard if you stay organized and plan ahead.

That said, it’s still nice to have a service like Printplace that you can rely on for those emergency situations. I use them quite frequently myself, often for projects that aren’t that urgent, just because I like to get things done quickly.
